Link existing financial accounts and define each agent’s authority.
Company
People are beginning to delegate everyday work to AI agents. Financial access is still fragmented across account providers, payment tools, and separate authorization flows.
Margin began with a practical frustration: setting up an agent to spend money could take too long, transactions could fail, and the controls were difficult to manage. A card alone did not provide the account access or financial functionality the experience required.
We are building toward a financial ecosystem that is straightforward for a person to use and structured for an agent to operate within the authority that person grants.
Our starting point is existing accounts. We plan to connect bank and brokerage accounts to a common permission layer, with account-specific access, spending limits, approval requirements, and activity records.
The longer-term plan is to expand into checking, savings, and brokerage services through financial institution partners. Human ownership and control remain central as the range of available actions grows.
Margin is being designed for everyday consumers, with an API that can also support developers and businesses. The objective is a consistent financial interface across the agents people choose to use.
